Characteristics of the cultivar
In NTEP putting green trials, Shark demonstrates perforamcne that exceeds existing standard varieties. It ranks in the top quality grouping for both soil and sand greens, even under a close mowing regime of less than 3 mm and under reduced fungicides application.
Performance on Greens
Shark delivers consistent results on any green composition even under mowing levels under 3.0 mm and reduced fungicides. Shark is rated no. 1 in summer density. It persists through summers’heat, humidity and disease stress. Shark provides anexcellent playing surface and is also able to suppress Poa annua due to an aggressive growth behaviour.
Watering
After seeding and establishing Shark prefers deep watering early in the morning.
