Poa Pratensis

Bariris forms a dense sward after particularly strong rhizome building in the second growing season. It has outstanding wear tolerance and can be found in many Barenbrug heavy-duty sports mixtures.

Colour and leaf texture
Medium-dark green coloured with medium broad leaves.

Partner varieties in mixtures
Bariris has been extensively tested in private trials at Barenbrug Research in the Netherlands, France and Eastern Europe. In addition, mixture trials at Landlab (Italy) showed Bariris to be in optimal synergy with Festuca arundinacea Barlexas II. For landscape, fairway and tee applications, Bariris mixes well with all Festuca rubra and Lolium perenne species, and in warm dry areas preferably with drought-tolerant varieties such as Bardiva (Frc) and Bartwingo or Barlennium (Lp).
